Wolverine's solo title was launched by Marvel in November of 1988, after a successful mini-series in 1982 and the character's growing popularity in the other X-Men titles. The title was relaunched twice and is currently in its third run, and remains one of Marvel's top sellers. This is probably because Wolverine is so flamin' awesome. ;)
