About: Bigby Wolf
Bigby Wolf is a reimagined fairy tale character in Bill Willingham's Fables series.
Bigby is the Big Bad Wolf of "huff, puff" fame. After doing a lot of really nasty stuff in the Homelands, Bigby came through to the mundane world and was talked into becoming the sheriff of Fabletown by Snow White, the woman for whom he's held a torch for centuries. To keep from spoiling new readers too much, let's condense this a bit: Bigby accidentally gets Snow pregnant, quits his job and runs away when Snow has to move to the Farm with the cubs, spends a lot of time running around the world, and eventually goes back to the Homelands on a dangerous mission for which he is richly rewarded.
